The Glory of Mantravibhushana Gauri

Verse 1 (skanda.7.348.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि देवीं मंत्रविभूषणाम्। भीमेश्वरस्य सान्निध्ये सोमेनाराधितां पुरा

īśvara uvāca| tato gacchenmahādevi devīṁ mantravibhūṣaṇām| bhīmeśvarasya sānnidhye somenārādhitāṁ purā

Ishvara said: O Great Goddess, one should then go to the goddess Mantravibhushana, near Bhimeshvara, who was worshipped in former times by Soma (the Moon).

Verse 2 (skanda.7.348.2)

श्रावणे मासि विधिना या नारी तां प्रपूजयेत्। तृतीयायां शुक्लपक्षे सा दुःखैर्मुच्यतेऽखिलैः

śrāvaṇe māsi vidhinā yā nārī tāṁ prapūjayet| tṛtīyāyāṁ śuklapakṣe sā duḥkhairmucyate'khilaiḥ

Whatever woman duly worships her in the month of Shravana, on the third day of the bright fortnight, is freed from all sorrows.
