Hanuman Aarti — Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki

Āratī kījai Hanumān lalā kī. Duṣṭa dalan Raghunāth kalā kī.

प्रिय हनुमान जी की आरती करें। वे दुष्टों का नाश करने वाले और भगवान श्री राम की दिव्य कला के स्वरूप हैं।

Let us perform the aarti of dear Hanuman. He is the destroyer of the wicked and a manifestation of Lord Rama's own divine power.

Jāke bal se girivar kāṃpe. Rog doṣ jāke nikaṭ na jhāṃke.

जिनके बल से बड़े-बड़े पर्वत भी काँप उठते हैं। कोई भी रोग या दोष उनके भक्तों के पास आने का साहस नहीं करता।

By whose strength even the mightiest mountains tremble. No disease or affliction dares to come near his devotees.

Anjanī putra mahā baladāī. Santan ke prabhu sadā sahāī.

वे माता अंजनि के पुत्र और महान बलदाई हैं। वे सज्जनों और संतों के सदा सहायक हैं।

He is the son of Mother Anjani and the great bestower of strength. He is always the helper and protector of virtuous, good-hearted people.

De bīrā Raghunāth paṭhāe. Laṅkā jalāy Siyā sudhi lāe.

हे वीर, भगवान श्री राम ने आपको दूत बनाकर भेजा। आपने लंका को जलाया और माता सीता का समाचार लेकर आए।

O brave one, Lord Rama sent you as His messenger. You burned the city of Lanka and brought back news of Mother Sita.

Laṅkā so koṭ samudra sī khāī. Jāt Pavanasut bār na lāī.

लंका का विशाल किला था और समुद्र उसकी खाई के समान था। फिर भी पवनपुत्र ने वहाँ पहुँचने में जरा भी देर नहीं लगाई।

Lanka had a mighty fortress with an ocean serving as its moat. Yet the son of the Wind-God crossed it in no time at all.

Laṅkā jalāy asur sab māre. Siyārāmajī ke kāj saṃvāre.

उन्होंने लंका को जलाया, सब असुरों का नाश किया और सीताराम जी के कार्य को सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया।

He burned Lanka, destroyed all the demons, and thus accomplished the sacred mission of Lord Rama and Mother Sita.

Lakṣmaṇ mūrchit paḍe sakāre. Āṇi sajīvan prāṇ ubāre.

जब लक्ष्मण जी युद्धभूमि में मूर्छित हो गए, तब हनुमान जी संजीवनी बूटी लेकर आए और उनके प्राण बचाए।

When Lakshmana fell unconscious on the battlefield, Hanuman brought the life-giving Sanjeevani herb and saved his life.

Paiṭhi pātāla tori jama-kāre. Ahirāvaṇa kī bhujā ukhāre.

उन्होंने पाताल में प्रवेश कर यम के बंदीगृह को तोड़ डाला और अहिरावण की भुजा उखाड़ दी।

He entered the netherworld and broke open Yama's dungeon, tearing off the arm of the demon Ahiravana.

Bāeṃ bhujā asuradala māre. Dāhine bhujā santajana tāre.

बाएं हाथ से वे असुरों की सेना का नाश करते हैं और दाहिने हाथ से संतजनों को तार देते हैं।

With his left arm he strikes down the armies of demons; with his right arm he carries his devotees safely across.

Sura nara muni āratī utāreṃ. Jaya jaya jaya Hanumān ucāreṃ.

देवता, मनुष्य और मुनि उनकी आरती उतारते हैं और बार-बार जय-जय-जय हनुमान का उच्चारण करते हैं।

Gods, humans, and sages perform his aarti, chanting again and again, glory, glory, glory to Hanuman.

Kañcana thāra kapūra lau chāī. Āratī karata Añjanā māī.

स्वर्ण थाल में कपूर की ज्योति फैली है, माता अंजना स्वयं उनकी आरती करती हैं।

On a golden plate the flame of camphor spreads its light, as Mother Anjana herself performs his aarti.

Jo Hanumānjī kī āratī gāve. Basi Baikuṇṭha parama pada pāve.

जो कोई हनुमान जी की यह आरती गाता है, वह वैकुण्ठ में वास कर परम पद पाता है।

Whoever sings this aarti of Hanuman shall dwell in Vaikuntha and attain the highest state.
