Krishna Aarti — Aarti Kunj Bihari Ki

Āratī kuñjabihārī kī, Śrī giridhara kṛṣṇa murārī kī. Āratī kuñjabihārī kī.

यह आरती है कुंज (वृंदावन के उपवनों) में विहार करने वाले श्री कृष्ण की। वे गोवर्धन पर्वत को उठाने वाले गिरिधर और मुर दैत्य का वध करने वाले मुरारी हैं।

This is the aarti of the beloved Krishna, who plays joyfully in the garden groves of Vrindavan. He is the glorious one who lifted the Govardhan mountain and who destroyed the demon Mura.

Gale meṃ baijantī mālā, bajāve muralī madhura bālā. Śravaṇa meṃ kuṇḍala jhalakālā, Nanda ke ānanda nandalālā. Āratī kuñjabihārī kī.

उनके गले में वैजयंती पुष्पों की माला सुशोभित है और वे मधुर बांसुरी बजाते हैं। उनके कानों में कुंडल झिलमिलाते हैं। वे नंद बाबा के आनंदस्वरूप पुत्र नंदलाल हैं।

Around His neck hangs the beautiful Vaijayanti garland of wildflowers, and this sweet young boy plays His enchanting flute. His earrings sparkle and shine near His ears. He is Nandalala — the blissful darling son of Nanda.

Gagana sama aṅga kānti kālī, Rādhikā camaka rahī ālī. Latana meṃ ṭhāḍhe banamālī, bhramara sī alaka kuṭila bhālī. Āratī kuñjabihārī kī.

उनके अंगों की कांति आकाश की तरह गहरी श्यामल है। उनके पास राधिका जी चमक रही हैं। लताओं के बीच बनमाली खड़े हैं और उनके माथे पर भौंरों जैसी घुँघराली अलकें शोभायमान हैं।

His body glows with a dark radiance like the vast sky. Beside Him, Radhika shines brilliantly like a dear companion. He stands amidst the flowering vines wearing His garland of forest blossoms, and His curly hair falls upon His forehead like dark bumblebees.

Kanakamaya mora mukuṭa bilasai, devatā darasana ko tarasaiṃ. Gagana soṃ sumana rāsi barasaiṃ, haṃsata mukha candra ujārasaiṃ. Āratī kuñjabihārī kī.

उनके सिर पर सुनहरा मोर मुकुट शोभायमान है। देवता भी उनके दर्शन को तरसते हैं। आकाश से फूलों की वर्षा हो रही है और उनका मुस्कुराता हुआ मुखचंद्र सबको प्रकाशित कर रहा है।

His golden peacock-feather crown shines magnificently. Even the gods in heaven long to catch a glimpse of Him. From the skies, showers of flowers rain down upon Him, and His smiling face illuminates everything like the radiant moon.

Jagamaga jagamaga hīrana chaharaīṃ, tribhuvana meṃ rūpa nihāraiṃ. Śyāma manohara aṅga raṅga ke, naulakha tārana tārana bāraiṃ. Āratī kuñjabihārī kī.

उनके अंगों पर हीरे जगमगा रहे हैं। तीनों लोक उनके रूप को निहार रहे हैं। श्याम सुंदर के मनमोहक अंगों की छटा ऐसी है कि नौलखा तारे भी उन पर न्योछावर हो रहे हैं।

Diamonds sparkle and shimmer all over His form. All three worlds gaze upon His magnificent beauty. The enchanting dark hue of Krishna's body is so captivating that even the priceless stars of the sky seem to offer themselves in devotion before Him.

गोपियाँ नाच रही हैं, ग्वालबाल उत्सव मना रहे हैं और नंदकिशोर खिलखिलाकर हँस रहे हैं। सब गोविंद, माधव, हरि का नाम लेकर ताली बजा-बजाकर जयजयकार कर रहे हैं। यह आरती है कुंजबिहारी श्री गिरिधर कृष्ण मुरारी की।

The gopis dance with their graceful footsteps and the cowherd boys join in the celebration, while the young Nanda Kishora laughs joyfully. Everyone calls out the names of Govinda, Madhava, and Hari, clapping their hands and making a joyous uproar. This is the aarti of the beloved Kunj Bihari, the glorious Giridhar Krishna Murari.
