अनासक्तः

The unattached one; the deity who is fully engaged with all of creation - receiving all prayers, granting all boons, participating in all human dramas - yet remains utterly unattached to any outcome, the perfect karma yogi of the cosmos

अनासक्त; वह देव जो सम्पूर्ण सृष्टि के साथ पूरी तरह संलग्न हैं - सभी प्रार्थनाएँ प्राप्त करते, सभी वर देते, सभी मानवीय नाटकों में भाग लेते - फिर भी किसी भी परिणाम से पूर्णतः अनासक्त रहते हैं, ब्रह्माण्ड के परम कर्मयोगी

भगवद् गीता की अनासक्त कर्म की शिक्षा इस नाम में अपनी गणेश-मूर्ति पाती है; वह भगवान जो आशीर्वाद देते हैं बिना इस पर आसक्त हुए कि उनका अच्छे से उपयोग किया जाए, धन्यवाद किए जाने की आसक्ति के बिना रक्षा करते हैं, और बदले में प्रेम किए जाने की आसक्ति के बिना प्रेम करते हैं।
