Sai Ashtakam

patrigrāmasamudbhūtaṃ dvārakāmāyivāsinam | bhaktābhīṣṭapradaṃ devaṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||1||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो पत्रिग्राम से उद्भूत हुए, द्वारकामाई में निवास करते हैं और भक्तों की अभीष्ट कामनाएँ पूर्ण करते हैं।

I bow to Sainath, who arose from Patri village, who dwells in Dwarkamai, the divine one who grants the cherished wishes of devotees.

mahonnatakulejātaṃ kṣīrāmbudhisame śubhe | dvijarājaṃ tamoghnaṃ taṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||2||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो महान कुल में जन्मे, क्षीरसागर के समान शुभ, द्विजराज (चन्द्रमा) के समान तेजस्वी और अंधकार के नाशक हैं।

I bow to Sainath, born in an exalted lineage, auspicious as the ocean of milk, radiant as the moon among the twice-born, dispeller of darkness.

jagaduddhāraṇārthaṃ yo nararūpadharo vibhuḥ | yoginaṃ ca mahātmānaṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||3||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जिन्होंने जगत के उद्धार हेतु नररूप धारण किया, जो सर्वव्यापी विभु, महायोगी और महात्मा हैं।

I bow to Sainath, the all-pervading Lord who assumed human form for the upliftment of the world, the great yogi, the great soul.

sākṣātkāre jaye lābhe svātmārāmo gurormukhāt | nirmalaṃ mama gātraṃ ca sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||4||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो साक्षात्कार, विजय और लाभ में भी स्वात्माराम रहते हैं; गुरु के मुखवचन से मेरा शरीर-मन निर्मल हो।

I bow to Sainath, ever content in his own Self regardless of realization, victory, or gain; through the Guru's word, may my being become pure.

yasya darśanamātreṇa naśyanti vyādhikoṭayaḥ | sarve pāpāḥ praṇaśyanti sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||5||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जिनके दर्शनमात्र से करोड़ों व्याधियाँ नष्ट हो जाती हैं और सभी पाप विनष्ट हो जाते हैं।

I bow to Sainath, by mere sight of whom crores of diseases are destroyed and all sins perish.

narasiṃhādiśiṣyāṇāṃ dadau yo'nugrahaṃ guruḥ | bhavabandhāpahartāraṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||6||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जिन्होंने नरसिंह आदि शिष्यों पर अनुग्रह किया, जो भवबंधन के हर्ता गुरु हैं।

I bow to Sainath, the Guru who bestowed grace upon disciples beginning with Narasimha, the remover of the bondage of worldly existence.

dhanāḍhyān ca daridrānyaḥ samadṛṣṭyeva paśyati | karuṇāsāgaraṃ devaṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||7||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो धनवान और निर्धन को समान दृष्टि से देखते हैं, जो करुणा के सागर देव हैं।

I bow to Sainath, who looks upon the wealthy and the poor with equal vision, the divine ocean of compassion.

samādhistho'pi yo bhaktyā samatīrthārthadānataḥ | acintyamahimānantaṃ sāyināthaṃ namāmyaham ||8||

मैं सायिनाथ को प्रणाम करता हूँ, जो समाधिस्थ होते हुए भी भक्तिपूर्वक तीर्थ और दान के समान फल प्रदान करते हैं, जिनकी महिमा अचिंत्य और अनंत है।

I bow to Sainath, who, even while established in eternal samadhi, out of devotion grants to his devotees blessings equal to pilgrimage and charitable giving, of inconceivable and infinite glory.
