Verse 34 (shiva.rudra.180.34)

Verse 35 (shiva.rudra.180.35)

Verse 37 (shiva.rudra.180.37)

Verse 39 (shiva.rudra.180.39)

Verse 40 (shiva.rudra.180.40)

ityevamuktvā pradadau sa tasmai hiraṇyanetrāya sutaṁ prasannaḥ harastu gauryyā sahito mahātmā bhūtādināthastripurārirugraḥ

Having said this, that pleased and great-souled Hara — lord of the hosts of beings, slayer of Tripura, together with Gauri — gave that son to Hiranyanetra.

Verse 41 (shiva.rudra.180.41)

Then that demon, having received the son from Hara, duly circumambulated him, worshiped Rudra with many hymns, and, well satisfied, that great-souled one returned to his own kingdom.

Verse 42 (shiva.rudra.180.42)

Then, having received a son from Girisha, that demon of terrible might went to the netherworld, and, conquering all the gods, drew this very earth toward his own domain.

Verse 43 (shiva.rudra.180.43)

With blows of his feet, bright as thunderbolts, he overturned the armies of the night-wandering demons; and then, with his Sudarshana discus blazing like a million suns, that being of astonishing, terrible splendor —

Verse 46 (shiva.rudra.180.46)

hiraṇyanetrasya śiro jvalantaṁ ciccheda daityāṁśca dadāha duṣṭān tataḥ prahṛṣṭo ditijendrarāja stamandhakaṁ tatra sa cābhyaṣiñcat

cut off Hiranyanetra's flaming head and burned the wicked demons to ash — then the pleased lord of Diti's sons anointed Andhaka there.

Verse 47 (shiva.rudra.180.47)

svasthānamāgatya tato dharitrīṁ dṛṣṭrāṅkureṇoddharataḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ bhūmiṁ ca pātālatalānmahātmā pupoṣa bhāgaṁ tvatha pūrvakaṁ tu

Returning to his own place, raising up the earth on the tip of his tusk, that great-souled, joyful one nourished the earth and the depths of the netherworld exactly as it had been before.

Verse 48 (shiva.rudra.180.48)

devaiḥsamastairmunibhiḥ prahṛṣṭai- rabhiṣṭutaḥ padmabhuvā ca tena yayau svalokaṁ harirugrakāyo varāharūpastu sukāryakartā

Praised well by all the joyful gods and sages and by lotus-born Brahma, Hari, of terrible body in the form of the boar, that accomplisher of good deeds, departed to his own realm.

Verse 49 (shiva.rudra.180.49)

hiraṇyanetre'tha hate'sureśe varāharūpeṇa sureṇa sadyaḥ devāḥsamastā munayaśca sarve pare ca jīvāḥ sukhino babhūvuḥ

When the lord of demons, Hiranyanetra, was thus slain that very instant by the god in the form of the boar, all the gods, all the sages, and every other being became happy.
