The Glory of the Four Lingas beginning with Kushakeshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.173.1)

ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि लिंगानां च चतुष्टयम्। एकस्थानस्थितानां तु सावित्र्यास्तत्र पश्चिमे

tato gacchenmahādevi liṁgānāṁ ca catuṣṭayam| ekasthānasthitānāṁ tu sāvitryāstatra paścime

Then, O great Goddess, one should go to the group of four lingas standing together in one place, there to the west of Savitri.

Verse 2 (skanda.7.173.2)

लिंगानां द्वितयं पूर्वे पश्चिमे सम्मुखद्वयम्। कुशकेश्वरनामेति लिंगं वै प्रथमं स्मृतम्

liṁgānāṁ dvitayaṁ pūrve paścime sammukhadvayam| kuśakeśvaranāmeti liṁgaṁ vai prathamaṁ smṛtam

Two lingas stand to the east, and two facing them to the west; of these, the first linga is remembered by the name Kushakeshvara.

Verse 3 (skanda.7.173.3)

गर्गेश्वरं द्वितीयं तु तृतीयं पुष्करेश्वरम्। मैत्रेयेश्वरनामेति चतुर्थं समुदाहृतम्

gargeśvaraṁ dvitīyaṁ tu tṛtīyaṁ puṣkareśvaram| maitreyeśvaranāmeti caturthaṁ samudāhṛtam

The second is Gargeshvara, the third Pushkareshvara, and the fourth is declared by the name Maitreyeshvara.

Verse 4 (skanda.7.173.4)

एतानि यस्तु लिंगानि पश्येद्भक्त्या जितेन्द्रियः। स मुक्तः पातकैः सर्वैर्गच्छेच्छिवपुरं महत्

etāni yastu liṁgāni paśyedbhaktyā jitendriyaḥ| sa muktaḥ pātakaiḥ sarvairgacchecchivapuraṁ mahat

Whoever, with senses conquered, beholds these lingas with devotion, is freed from all sins and goes to the great city of Shiva.

Verse 5 (skanda.7.173.5)

शुक्लपक्षे चतुर्दश्यां वैशाखे तु विशेषतः। स्नानं कृत्वा प्रयत्नेन ब्राह्मणांस्तत्र भोजयेत्

śuklapakṣe caturdaśyāṁ vaiśākhe tu viśeṣataḥ| snānaṁ kṛtvā prayatnena brāhmaṇāṁstatra bhojayet

Especially on the fourteenth day of the bright fortnight of Vaishakha, having bathed with care, one should feed brahmins there.

Verse 6 (skanda.7.173.6)

तेभ्यो दद्याद्यथाशक्त्या काञ्चनं वसनानि च। एवं कृते भवेद्यात्रा परिपूर्णा सुरेश्वरि

tebhyo dadyādyathāśaktyā kāñcanaṁ vasanāni ca| evaṁ kṛte bhavedyātrā paripūrṇā sureśvari

One should give them gold and garments according to one's ability; O goddess of the gods, when this is done, the pilgrimage becomes complete.
