The Glory of Samvarteshvara

Verse 1 (skanda.7.364.1)

ईश्वर उवाच। ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि संवर्तेश्वरमुत्तमम्। इन्द्रेश्वरात्पश्चिमतः पूर्वतश्चार्कभास्करात्

īśvara uvāca| tato gacchenmahādevi saṁvarteśvaramuttamam| indreśvarātpaścimataḥ pūrvataścārkabhāskarāt

Ishvara said: Thereafter, O great Goddess, one should go to the excellent Samvarteshvara, situated to the west of Indreshvara and to the east of Arka-Bhaskara (the Sun-tirtha).

Verse 2 (skanda.7.364.2)

तं दृष्ट्वा तु महादेवं स्नात्वा पुष्करिणीजले। दशानामश्वमेधानां फलमाप्नोति मानवः

taṁ dṛṣṭvā tu mahādevaṁ snātvā puṣkariṇījale| daśānāmaśvamedhānāṁ phalamāpnoti mānavaḥ

Having beheld that great god and bathed in the waters of the Pushkarini pool, a man obtains the fruit of ten Ashvamedha (horse) sacrifices.
