आत्मा के तत्त्व के प्रकाशक, जो सच्ची आत्म-जिज्ञासा के साथ आने वालों को आत्मन् की वास्तविक प्रकृति प्रकट करते हैं

आत्मतत्त्वप्रकाशक ज्ञान-प्रकाशक नामों में सबसे विशिष्ट है: विशेष रूप से आत्मन्-तत्त्व (आत्मा का सत्य) का प्रकाशक। आत्मन् का सत्य किसी भी बाहरी साधन से नहीं पाया जा सकता: यह कोई ऐसी वस्तु नहीं जो दूसरों द्वारा स्थित, मापी या वर्णित की जा सके। रमण महर्षि की 'मैं कौन हूँ?' आत्म-जिज्ञासा आत्मतत्त्वप्रकाशक की विधि की सबसे प्रत्यक्ष समकालीन अभिव्यक्ति है।
