स्वानन्दः

The self-joy, whose bliss arises from the self's recognition of its own nature and needs nothing external to be complete and inexhaustible

स्व-आनन्द, जिनका आनन्द आत्मा की अपनी प्रकृति की पहचान से उठता है और पूर्ण और अक्षय होने के लिए बाहरी कुछ भी नहीं चाहिए

स्वानन्द दत्तात्रेय को स्वानन्द: स्व-आनन्द नाम देता है। तैत्तिरीय उपनिषद् आनन्द को सबसे गहरे कोश (आनन्दमय) के रूप में रखता है। दत्तात्रेय स्वानन्द के रूप में यह स्व-उदित, स्व-पोषित आनन्द है जिसे उठने के लिए किसी बाहरी घटना की जरूरत नहीं।
