The root of bliss, the foundational tuber from which all bliss grows as a plant grows from its hidden underground root

आनन्द की जड़, वह मूलभूत कन्द जिससे सभी आनन्द उगता है जैसे पौधा अपनी छिपी भूमिगत जड़ से उगता है

आनन्दकन्द दत्तात्रेय को आनन्द की जड़ (कन्द) नाम देता है। 'कन्द' एक पौधे के बल्ब या राइज़ोम को संदर्भित करता है: वह छिपी भूमिगत संरचना जिससे दृश्यमान पौधा उभरता है। दत्तात्रेय आनन्दकन्द के रूप में वह भूमिगत जड़ हैं जिससे सभी दृश्यमान आनन्द उगता है। आनन्द का हर मानवीय अनुभव इस छिपी जड़ से अपनी जीवन शक्ति खींचता है।
